Who is The Junktique Collector?

We are a Prompt, Reliable, Friendly, Affordable and Professional junk removal service. We do all the work from loading to cleanup in your home or commercial property.

What type of junk do you remove?

We are a hand load service, we can remove just about anything, we dismantle large items and occasionally hire a bobcat, flatbed or other equipment to remove items.

Examples include, furniture, appliances, construction and remodeling debris, foreclosure cleanup, yard debris, shed removal, storage or garage clean out, property clean up, dumpster enclosure clean out, Jacuzzi, swing set and large item demo.

Do you have insurance and licenses?

Yes, we are insured and licensed, We carry a Commercial General Liability Policy and Vehicle Insurance policy, We carry a Service Bond and all workman are covered by Workers Compensation.

Can you move items from here to there?

No, we are not a licensed Mover, We will give you a referral to a Mover we work with.

When should I call for prompt service?

Our Schedule is very flexible; we offer same day/next day service for small to medium jobs, larger jobs will be scheduled accordingly.

Can you give me an exact quote on the phone?

Yes, in most cases we can give you an exact price on the phone. You can also send us pictures of your junk, we may give a range of prices, all jobs are unique and our estimates are always free.

Do I have to be onsite when junk is removed?

No. As long as you can give us access to the property, via lock box, or other method, we will enter your location, call you with a free estimate, once completed, we offer on line payment services.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept Cash, Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover, We accept credit cards in person or online, We also accept Pay Pal Payment services. 30 day billing is available with your signed credit application on file. Sorry no checks, except from Commercial Account Holders.

Can I schedule after regular hours or on the weekend?

Yes. We are very flexible in our scheduling.

What happens to all the junk?

We take the dumping of junk very seriously, We currently recycle over 90% of items removed, from paper and cardboard, to metals, tires, rock and concrete, what is left is dumped at recycling centers who further break down the junk for recycling. We rarely use a landfill, some loads such as full food loads will be disposed of at an environmentally friendly incinerator. We donate items to charity, re sell items and re use items.

What about paints, chemicals and hazardous items?

We do not remove Liquids, Paints, chemicals or sealed tanks. Most municipalities offer free drop off by residents of the unwanted hazardous materials, please call your City Hall or Public Waste departments for details. For large quantity liquid or chemical removal we can refer you to recycler who can pick up such items for a fee.

What type of equipment will you bring to the job?

We will bring all the materials needed to complete your job, rolling cans, hand and electric tools, electric generator, furniture and appliance dollies and hand trucks, trash bags, rakes, brooms, shovels, truck, trailer, and workmen.

Will you put a dumpster on my property?

Possibly. Most all jobs are completed on our trucks and dumping trailers, for larger more complex jobs we may use a dumpster, if we do, it will be immediately removed once full.

How much material can you remove at one time?

10 to 20 cubic yards fit on our trailers, we use local recycle centers and are capable of multiple loads per day.

If we use your service throughout the year, can we get a lower rate?

Yes. We offer Commercial rates that are lower than our advertised prices, this is offered to Realtors, Property Managers, Professional Organizers, etc.
